Edinburgh Days Out is the online tourist information centre for Edinburgh, covering holiday accommodation, visitor attractions, tours, festivals and events all year round. Edinburgh Days Out is operated by Edinburgh TIC Ltd. Our ultimate aim is to enable visitors to enjoy Edinburgh's unique environment at a reasonable cost, and to keep coming back.

We collaborate with other tourism-related businesses and service providers to provide visitors with the latest and most accurate information possible. We've carefully selected business partners who provide reliable customer service and value-for-money deals, including Viator for tours, and Red Letter Days for experience days.

Edinburgh Days Out includes:

A directory of theatres and cinemas
A directory of museums and galleries
Experience days
A guided tours information page
Maps and useful contact information for tourists
Special passes, promotions & vouchers

We are keen to promote local tourism-related businesses and specialist shops. We'd like visitors to the city to gain experiences and leave with memories that are distinctive and peculiar to their time in Edinburgh. We also want to help the local economy, so we offer free link-exchanges and advertising on this website for suitable Edinburgh-based businesses.

VisitScotland provides a wide range of valuable services for tourists that we are happy to recommend, including walk-in visitor centres and a national contact centre.
